About Dr. McConnell

Michelle McConnell, NMD, is an experienced naturopathic doctor who provides compassionate care for patients at Live Well Wellness Center in Chandler, Arizona. Dr. McConnell was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and has spent time across her home state as well as Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington. Far from being a city girl, Dr. McConnell grew up on a farm, where she first developed her interest in medicine after helping care for the family's animals.

As a teenager, Dr. McConnell became interested in science and spent time working as a veterinary technician. Her fascination with nature, science, the human body, and how they're perfectly orchestrated was the reason she chose to enter medicine, and it's a decision that has brought her many rewards.

From 1995 to 2000, Dr. McConnell studied for her bachelor's degree in microbiology with a minor in virology at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. In 2014, she graduated as a doctor of naturopathic medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe. She has completed 300 hours of preceptor training and undergone extensive instruction in laser technology, lipolysis aspiration, aesthetic dermal fillers, Botox®, and stem cell processing, spending time at the Asian Stem Cell Institute and Regenerative Medicine in Pasig in the Philippines.

For Dr. McConnell, practicing medicine is far more than a job; it's about fostering human connections and building relationships with patients. Her greatest joy is making her patients feel better when they're certain they won't and restoring their quality of life. Dr. McConnell also understands the importance of preventive care and how it offers higher quality and longer life, empowering people to pursue what matters most to them.

Outside the office, Dr. McConnell's top priority is making time for herself - the one aspect that's different every day.
